On the morning of my last full day in Portland, Sam and Jon took me on a scenic drive through the Columbia River Gorge.  My oh my, was it beautiful!  We stopped at three different waterfalls on the way home, each unique and mesmerizing in their own way.  My favorite was definitely Multnomah Falls; the sheer height of the falls and its picturesque surroundings made it one of my favorite sights to photograph on my visit!  That evening, we drove back to the gorge to watch the sun set at the Vista House.  Let me tell you, there's nothing like views of the mountains in front of a west coast sunset!
