A WEDDING AT THE RIVERVIEW

Michelle and Dan’s early September wedding at The Riverview in Simsbury, Connecticut was autumn perfection! It was our first overcast wedding day all season, which gave the colors in their photos an extra pop! From the first time we FaceTimed with these guys, to their sweet engagement session at Perry’s Green in Southport, Connecticut, Arturo and I knew that Dan and Michelle would be nothing short of two fantastic people to work with. Their love story was six years in the making, and now they’re married!

Michelle and Dan’s day was filled with love, laughter, and pure joy. They planned a thoughtful wedding celebration that truly reflected them as a couple, but also included those most important to them. Dan and Michelle’s first look was incredibly sweet; neither one of them could contain their excitement! These guys rocked every minute of their time in front of our cameras (just wait until you see their portraits!!), and were up for just about anything. Soon after, their wedding party joined in for some group photos. Let me tell you, Michelle and Dan are so loved by their friends and family!

Just like their first look, Dan and Michelle’s wedding ceremony was filled with equal parts laughter and happiness. After sharing heartfelt vows with each other, the newlyweds shared a first kiss as guests cheered and clapped for them. The love that surrounded Michelle and Dan could be felt throughout the entire evening!

THE LOVE STORY

During the summer between her junior and senior year of college, Michelle started an internship at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. One day that same summer, Dan had been driving his mom's car and hit a pot hole which broke her axel. He brought his mother in to rent a car and Michelle was the one to help them out. As it turns out, they were from the same town, and Michelle had graduated high school with Dan’s younger brother! During their conversation, Dan had asked Michelle about the process to get a job within the company.

The summer ended and Michelle went back to school in New Hampshire. A few short weeks later, Dan was hired at Enterprise! When she returned home for winter break, Michelle decided to work at Enterprise for a few weeks to make some extra money. She and Dan worked in the same office and became really good friends. Michelle loved going to work, because there wasn't a day that Dan didn't put a smile on her face. Their friendship continued to grow throughout Michelle’s senior year of college as they would talk every week. Once she graduated and moved back home, their friendship grew into a romance, which brought us all to their beautiful wedding day!
