A SALTWATER FARM VINEYARD WEDDING
Emily and Lenny’s wedding at Saltwater Farm Vineyard in Stonington, Connecticut was a charming summer celebration! There was a special joy that filled the air from the beginning of the day to the end. Arturo and I spent some time with these two last October at their Eolia Mansion engagement session, and my oh my are they a treat to photograph! There’s no denying that these two are in love, and we were honored to capture their love once again, this time on their beautiful wedding day.
Saltwater Farm Vineyard was a delightful and romantic place for Lenny and Emily’s summer wedding. With the stunning vineyard views, sweet personal details, and a couple madly in love, there was no shortage of romance surrounding the newlyweds that evening! They were married in an elegant and romantic ceremony, with rows of grapevines serving as an incredible backdrop to their photographs. We’ve photographed countless weddings, and we’ve ever heard so many (joyful) sniffles from guests as we did at Emily and Lenny’s wedding while the bride and groom shared their vows. After exchanging rings and tying the Irish knot, the two were now one!
Emily and Lenny’s exquisite taste was reflected in every detail of their wedding design. Their color palette of sage, navy, blush, and gold accents seamlessly blended with the natural beauty of Saltwater Farm Vineyard. From the delicate lush blooms that adorned the tables to the shimmering gold accents scattered throughout the venue, every element harmonized to create a sophisticated and timeless ambiance.
As the newlyweds were celebrated by their loved ones in Saltwater Farm Vineyard’s tasting room, the air was filled with laughter and excitement. The glee that radiated from Lenny and Emily’s smiles was infectious, creating an immeasurable sense of happiness that enveloped everyone present!
THE LOVE STORY
Emily and Lenny’s first date was at a local restaurant in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. The two entertained the bar with Lenny’s coaster-flipping skills and Emily’s lack thereof. For their entire date, Emily didn’t stop smiling because Lenny made it so easy for her to just be herself! When he excused himself for a moment, a lady at the bar turned to Emily and asked her how long the two of them had been together. After Emily told her that she and Lenny were on their first date, the lady said, “Well it certainly won’t be your last!”.
