A SPRING ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT SOUTHPORT HARBOR

Arturo and I were delighted to finally meet Rachel and Colin last week at their Southport Harbor engagement session in Fairfield, Connecticut! They booked with us last summer, and though Rachel and I have connected on Instagram over the past year, it’s always a treat to meet our couples face-to-face. The love these sweethearts share is undeniable, which made photographing their engagement session that much more fun!

When it comes to choosing a location that exudes timeless charm and natural beauty, Southport Harbor is an ideal setting. Nestled along the picturesque New England coastal town of Fairfield, Connecticut, this charming harbor and the surrounding neighborhood offer a stunning backdrop for engagement photos. The combination of the sailboats floating in the water, the golden light, and of course, and wonderful couple, made this a recipe for a perfect engagement session!

Engagement sessions are not only about capturing romantic moments but also about showcasing our couple's personalities and beautiful connection. Southport Harbor provided ample opportunities for these two to express their playful side. From walking hand in hand along the shoreline to sharing laughter in the light of the setting sun, Colin and Rachel radiated pure joy throughout their engagement session.

The bride- and groom-to-be shared more of their wedding plans with us as we strolled along the nearby streets that line Southport Harbor. If their engagement session is any indication of what their wedding is going to be like, we simply cannot wait for their day to arrive!

THE PROPOSAL STORY

Colin and Rachel love to travel together, as well as all things ocean and the beach, so they decided to head to Block Island for the day last summer with their dog, Cooper. The pair had visited Block Island when they first started dating, and it has since become one of their favorite places. As they walked along a secluded beach, Colin proposed, much to Rachel’s surprise! She was in such shock when he popped the question that she almost forgot to say yes!

These two are getting married next June at Smith Farm Gardens, and we cannot wait to see their day come to life! Congratulations Rachel and Colin!
