A FALL WEDDING AT THE WHITTEMORE AT VYNE
Ali and Matt’s fall wedding at The Whittemore at Vyne in Middlebury, Connecticut was absolutely beautiful! It was unseasonably warm for late October (almost 80°!), but it was also one of the only sunny wedding days we photographed in months! After a string of rainy and overcast wedding days, it was refreshing to bring some sunshine into our couple’s wedding portraits.
Matt and Ali planned a stunning day from beginning to end, and the love these two share is what truly brought the entire day together. They’re sweet as can be and such a joy to photograph. On top of it all, the fall foliage was at its peak in Connecticut that weekend, which allowed Arturo and me to bring all kinds of vibrant autumn colors into Ali and Matt’s wedding photos.
We began our afternoon with Ali as she and her three sisters got ready for the day’s festivities. After hair and makeup were done, it was time for the first look! There may have been a few tears when the bride and groom saw each other for the first time that day, but those were quickly replaced with smiles, laughter, and a few gentle kisses.
Later that afternoon, Matt and Ali were married in a beautiful ceremony among their friends and family. The sun shined down as they exchanged their vows and rings. As soon as the new Mr. and Mrs. shared their first kiss, all of the guests in attendance erupted with cheers and clapping as the newlyweds made their way back up the aisle together!
The golden hour that evening didn’t disappoint, and Mother Nature made sure to give us the most lively fall colors on the trees for Matt and Ali’s newlywed portraits. Stunning hues of reds, yellows, and oranges graced the landscape around us, creating a jaw-dropping backdrop for some romantic fall wedding photographs.
Ali and Matt were celebrated endlessly that evening with heartfelt toasts and a jam-packed dance floor. With all of the love that surrounded them that day, there’s no denying these two had an incredible wedding celebration!
